This fly is a great attractor jig for getting down in those deep river holes or fish it under a float on stillwater for panfish and trout.  Its also been a great jig for ice fishing! 
Something about the chartruese and mix of UV materials truly drives fish to eat! Hot jig for deep river trout, bows and browns. For stillwater lakes, crappie, bluegill, perch and even smallmouth bass cant resist this little jig. 
 
PRO TIP: In spring and summer tie this with my white minnow jig under a bobber for Crappie, Whitebass and Perch. Yes it's a Trout slayer but I've had lots of success on warm water lakes for panfish. Fish next to structure, trees and always try the shade in warm weather months. Slow retrieve then pause, the bites usually come on the pause.
