This fly was designed with the help of an entomoligist I met here in Utah. October caddis larvae are big juicy bugs that trout gorge on! The rust color cdc combined with the pheasant tail and hot spot two tone collar, gets seen and brings very aggresive eats. This fly also immitates a stonefly and many big juicy nymphs. This is definetely one of my top 5 producers for trout, especially browns.
