This little midge is a jigged variation I came up with to beat the competition. Its kind of like a "Zebra Midge" and "Higgas SOS" got together and had a baby with a tungsten head. It gets down unlike most midge patterns that will need to be weighted and it's very durable.
 
I like to fish it as a dropper under a dry fly during the warmer months, and for winter I'll rig two under an indicator. 
For euro nymphing I'll fish it as my dropper above a heavier point fly. I also fish it on my tenkara rod as a single nymph in small clear creeks. 
PRO TIP: Pair this with my purple choronomid or lime larvae and you got a fish catching duo!
