Topwater Dry Fly
Every box needs a good hopper pattern. I always take time to look at the "naturals" bugs living near the rivers. I found a dominate hopper species that had a copper and black belly, and lots of hoppers have red on thier legs, so I matched the hatch. This bug has a custom tapered butt and a head that pushes water down forcing the fly up like a "drift boat" hence the name. The legs and orange belly are UV and light up in the sun. Never leaves my box. Works excellent on all rivers "especially lower elevation." Also fishes well in pocket water and stillwater lakes. The 4mil foam body easily holds a 3.5mm tungsten nymph for a hopper dropper rig. 
Recently had a couple Bass and a bunch of big Bluegill eat this hopper at Mantua reservoir, Ut. 
It's a bigger hopper so the smaller Bluegill are weeded out, letting the bigs eat it, So Fun!
