This fly is a variation of US team Pro Lance Egans "Red Dart" fly. I feel its an upgrade with a few tweaks includung the long soft hackle and flashy tail. I don't know why this colorful bug works, but it honestly catches fish all year long. Definetely one of my top producers for trout, rainbows, browns and even grayling.
